A Ride to Las Vegas: An Enjoyable Experience
Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the most entertaining cities in the world. However, if you don’t want to drive or fly there, the only way to get there without your own personal transportation would be by bus or train. That can take a very long time and may not be very enjoyable. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to get an enjoyable ride to Las Vegas.
Things to do before the trip
If you are looking for an exciting place where fun activities and casinos abound, then we highly recommend visiting Las Vegas. It is one of those places that should be visited at least once in a lifetime. Although it may sound a bit adventurous, it’s easy to get around and offers several options of lavish hotels, casinos, shows and resorts for all travelers! With abundant excitement waiting for you and your family as well as your friends we’re confident that your vacation will be stress-free with just enough time for fun activities like gambling or pool parties. Here are some tips on what you should do before starting your adventure.
The first thing that you should do is book your hotel. There are many hotels, resorts and casinos in Las Vegas, so before you do anything else you will need to narrow down your choices based on price, reviews and location. The best places for gambling and fun entertainment are situated along The Strip, which is an avenue that stretches from Circus Circus Hotel & Casino all of way up north past Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. If you plan on staying here than your destination is set as many of these lavish hotels offer deals and specials when you book a stay at their resort!
While most people want to be near The Strip, there are a few other attractions further off of it.
How to go there
There are a number of ways you can go about getting from point A to point B. But choosing which option is best for you depends on what factors are most important in your decision. If price is your main priority, then driving may be for you. However, if environmental impact and convenience are equally important, then a carbon-neutral mode of travel like air travel or riding with friends might be a better option. Of course, there’s always public transportation if you’re going on vacation but want to do some sightseeing while you’re there—especially since traveling by bus allows you to discover new destinations along your route.
You may want to ask yourself one more question before you book your plane ticket: What kind of traveler are you? And what would I like to get out of this experience? These two questions will help shape the decisions you make about what type of accommodation to book before you do. The first day in Las Vegas
Once you arrive in Las Vegas, it’s important to discover your options for food, lodging and entertainment. It can also be helpful to make a list of people you want to spend time with; whether that’s catching up with friends or trying something new. If someone offers an invitation for a tour or activity, definitely take them up on it! This will give you more opportunities and ways of experiencing all that Las Vegas has to offer.
The first day was spent meeting up with friends and eating at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Hotel. There is a lot of buzz about this restaurant because the food is great but even better than the quality, is the view. You are able to look out onto the Bellagio Fountains from here which makes it worth every penny.
This place is full so plan ahead! I recommend making reservations ahead of time if you have dinner plans here. We walked down the strip and enjoyed seeing all the lights, colors and sights that each hotel had to offer. Definitely check out Stratosphere because it is such a unique experience as well as Caesars Palace for some serious glitz and glamour.
As we made our way back home after dinner, we stopped by a club called Drais Nightclub inside the Cromwell hotel. We were given VIP passes through a friend so we got free drinks during this whole experience (it would have been pricey otherwise). As far as clubs go, this one was pretty small but perfect for dancing if that’s what you’re looking for!
Where should you stay?
Las Vegas is home to a mind-boggling number of hotels and resorts, and as a first-time visitor you should have no problem finding one that meets your needs and budget. As soon as you’ve got your travel plans set, visit TripAdvisor’s website and start planning your trip. Once you’ve found one that fits both your price range and personal style, it’s time to find some fun things to do in Las Vegas!
Whether you want a hotel right on The Strip or something a little further away, such as one of these hotels near Mandalay Bay, you’ll be able to find something that fits your needs. You can even get an entirely different experience by staying in Downtown Las Vegas. You can get around via bus, monorail and taxi while seeing some of LV’s landmarks like Fremont Street and The Neon Museum. From two recommended hotels, the Golden Nugget and El Cortez, choose a comfortable stay at an affordable price.
Here is a must-do when in Las Vegas, The Strip! Whether you take a cab or drive yourself, it’s sure to be one of your favourite experiences, especially if you have time for all-night gambling sessions and mouth-watering food!
Restaurants, bars, and casinos.
You might also want to plan a pit stop at some of Sin City’s famous restaurants, bars, and casinos. Some of your options include The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (no, it’s not a hotel), which is home to Top Chef Masters winner Pior LaFontaine’s Restaurant 58; Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan; and Sinatra, an Italian restaurant that boasts celebrity chef Oliva Andreatta.
Last but not least is Old Homestead Steakhouse where you can indulge in steaks flown in from all around the country. If you choose Old Homestead for dinner one night and then reserve seats for Cirque du Soleil’s O at Bellagio on another evening, your wedding anniversary trip will be complete. One last suggestion for those planning their upcoming trip would be to stay at one of MGM Resorts International’s boutique hotels such as Vdara or The Signature at MGM Grand.
Luxury suites with balconies overlooking city lights and views of iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower are available. There are various dining options including award-winning Mario Batali’s Otto Enoteca & Bar, buffet lovers should head over to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, and if you’re looking for something quick there’s always Craftsteak Burger Joint. Be sure to make reservations before heading out into the Strip though because many of these top-tier restaurants fill up quickly!
What’s so exciting about nightlife in Las Vegas?
In many ways, Sin City is an amalgamation of all things bright and beautiful. The city is brimming with neon lights, gaudy hotel exteriors, and casinos that never seem to close. When one thinks of an ideal nightlife destination, however, there’s a good chance that they’re imagining something like Vegas. There are countless opportunities for people of all kinds—whether they’re there for a bachelor or bachelorette party, a family reunion trip with friends and relatives, or just because—to have unforgettable experiences and make memories that will last them a lifetime. If you’re thinking about booking your next vacation in Sin City, here are some great reasons why you should choose it over any other destination!
First off, no matter what you want to do while on the strip, there’s a casino nearby ready to take your money! With so many unique games at every casino’s slot machines and tables, guests can bet as little as $1 or as much as $100 – everyone has their own budget after all. As someone who prefers blackjack but can’t afford to lose too much cash on the game itself, I prefer coming out ahead by playing slots first (I’m not going to lie). It also doesn’t hurt that the odds are better for me than if I was at a craps table–let’s be honest here… Second of all, don’t forget about food options while on the strip!
How to keep safe while walking at night.
Whenever you go out at night, there’s a certain degree of risk involved. Even if you’re not walking alone, it’s still important to keep your safety in mind. Here are some ways to stay safe while walking at night:
1) Go with a group whenever possible—safety in numbers!
2) Try not to walk in alleys and other areas where people can hide and sneak up on you.
3) Make sure your phone is charged and ready to dial 911 if needed.
4) If you see someone or something suspicious while walking, don’t be afraid or embarrassed to call 911 as soon as possible!
