Join me in exploring the stunning beauty of Hunza Valley!

As you may know, I spent the last few weeks on an exploration of Hunza Valley in Pakistan. If you’re not familiar with Hunza Valley, it’s located in northern Pakistan, along the border with China. It’s known as the land of the verticals because of its mountainous terrain and spectacular beauty — which I got to experience first-hand! I can’t wait to share my photos and impressions from this amazing adventure…

The Magnificent Baltoro Glacier

But K2 is just one peak in a vast landscape of mountains and glaciers. The Baltoro Glacier is truly a place of natural beauty, with towering peaks and scenic views.

If you’re looking for things to do in Hunza Valley, I highly recommend taking a hike on the Baltoro Glacier. For example, head up to the Karakoram Pass, which is the highest point on this massive glacier. Or if you want something more scenic, try trekking up past Concordia’s triple divide at over 6,000 meters high where three great river systems have their sources: the Indus River which flows into Pakistan; Brahmaputra River flowing into India; and Sutlej River that flows into Pakistan’s Punjab province. There are also several other attractions like the Fairy Meadows or Gilgit-Baltistan region for tourists interested in history. Places like these are what make Hunza Valley such an amazing place to visit!

The Elegant Patriata Meadow

The Patriata Meadow is one of the most beautiful natural places in Pakistan. It’s a great place to visit if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy some peace and quiet. There are plenty of things to do in the meadow, including hiking, picnicking, and just enjoying the stunning views.
If you’re looking for a place to relax and take in some of Pakistan’s natural beauty, Patriata Meadow is definitely worth a visit! The Unparalleled Fairy Meadows

Tucked away in the Northwestern corner of Pakistan, lies the Hunza Valley. This secluded paradise is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth. From the soaring peaks of Rakaposhi to the tranquil waters of Attabad Lake, there is no shortage of natural beauty to explore in Hunza. And don’t even get me started on Fairy Meadows!
This dreamy alpine meadow is straight out of a fairytale and should definitely be on your bucket list. It’s worth spending a night here just for the sunset over Karakoram Highway, not to mention that sunrise over Baltit Fort. Pack your bags and join me on this adventure!
We’ll hike through the gorgeous verdant forest of Nagar Valley and make our way to Nagar Village, where we’ll enjoy fresh fruit before returning back home. It will be an unforgettable experience for all ages. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been living for these past six months! Join me in one of the last true paradises on Earth, Hunza Valley.

On Top of Ultar Sar Peak

I can’t believe I’m finally here, on top of Ultar Sar Peak. The view is incredible, and I can see for miles in every direction. The air is so fresh and clean up here, and the sun is so bright. I feel so lucky to be able to experience this amazing place. It’s a privilege to get a chance to explore such a beautiful land. I know that there are many places like this around the world that are just waiting for me to visit them too! There is still so much more I want to do and see before my time in Pakistan ends. While visiting Hunza Valley, why not check out some other nearby sights? Although it’s not technically part of Hunza, Karimabad is also definitely worth a visit. If you make your way to Karimabad via jeep taxi or private car, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to take in some awesome views along the way. Have you ever been hiking in your life? If not then I highly recommend getting on one of these trails right away!

Lake Saif-ul-Malook

I’ve always been fascinated by Pakistan – a country with such rich culture and history. And when I heard about Hunza Valley, I knew I had to see it for myself. Nestled in the Himalayan mountains, this secluded valley is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever seen.

From the glistening Lake Saif-ul-Malook to the towering Rakaposhi peak, there’s no shortage of natural beauty here. While the landscape is incredible enough on its own, you’ll find that there’s much more than meets the eye in Hunza Valley. You can’t help but feel at peace when you’re surrounded by nothing but unspoiled nature; but don’t forget to explore the incredible culture too!
The locals are friendly and welcoming, so be sure to say hello and ask them any questions you may have. Whether you want to learn how locals weave textiles or sample their famous apricot tea (it tastes like heaven!), they will be happy to show you around. With so many opportunities for adventure, I know I will have many reasons to come back again soon!

The Charming Gulmit Villages

If you’re looking for a breathtaking place to explore, look no further than Hunza Valley. This charming region is home to a number of quaint villages, each with its own unique features. From the colorful houses of Gulmit to the scenic mountainside views, there’s plenty to admire in Hunza Valley. Trust me, it’s worth the visit!

2) The valleys are scattered with grapevines and fruit trees that have been cultivated by locals since time immemorial.
3) You’ll find picturesque waterfalls and canals throughout these fertile valleys which make for an excellent picnic spot during warmer months.
4) Additionally, walking through some of the narrow alleys and bustling bazaars will give you a glimpse into traditional Pakistani culture.

Head for Altit Fort to See the Blue Murree

If you’re looking for a breathtaking view, head to Altit Fort. The drive up to the fort is half the fun, as you wind your way through the valley. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of the blue Murree. Be sure to bring your camera to capture this incredible sight! Take a walk along Pika Nala and enjoy the cool waterfalls and terraced fields below.

Fruitful Apricot Trees and Glimpses of Villages: On our hike we found fruitful apricot trees and villages that were tucked away from modern society but only accessible by footpaths or horseback. It was fascinating to learn about how these people live their lives. We learned about their customs, dress, celebrations and family life; which differed greatly from ours.
I also got to try some new foods like dried apricots, mulberries and walnuts. I felt so lucky being able to experience such an amazing culture firsthand.
