Because of its unique location and history, Hallstatt has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you’re looking for a breathtaking destination, add Hallstatt to your list! Here are some pictures of my experience. I explored every corner of this small village including all the waterfalls!
I would recommend visiting when the weather is nice because there are a lot of hiking trails to explore nearby and lots of hidden gems like these fairy tale homes with roses around them.
Enjoyed strolling through each street lined with flowerpots which filled the air with an aromatic scent that never got old.
What I loved about this place was how much culture I found everywhere from traditional Austrian food to even churches or cathedrals filled with religious symbolism from centuries ago. You’ll find signs around town warning tourists not to climb up any mountain because they may see witches or devils at their summit .
