There are several clubs within walking distance of hotels, so a night out doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down. One popular club frequented by locals and visitors alike is Moe’s Alley. Located just off Lincoln Avenue, Moe’s Alley features live music seven nights a week plus weekly drink specials including margaritas on Tuesdays!

History and Culture in Chinatown

Chinatown is one of the most popular tourist destinations in San Jose. This area is home to a rich history and culture, dating back to the 1800s when Chinese immigrants first arrived in California. The Center for the Performing Arts

San Jose is home to the Center for the Performing Arts, a world-renowned venue that has hosted some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. If you’re a fan of the arts, then a tour of this iconic building is a must-do while in town. Tours are offered from Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm to 3pm, and reservations are recommended. Parks, Rec Centers and Gardens

Venture beyond downtown and you’ll find plenty of parks, rec centers and gardens to explore. Take a walk through one of the many parks, such as Alum Rock Park or Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. Or, go for a swim at one of the many public pools, such as Guadalupe River Park or Almaden Lake Park.

If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, check out San Jose’s Japanese Friendship Garden or Municipal Rose Garden. It’s not all green grass and trees in San Jose. The Eastridge Mall is home to some unique shops like Yo Momma’s Bakery (which has been featured on ABC) and is just a quick drive from Silicon Valley (home of Google). For families, there are plenty of things to do like visiting the Japantown Peace Plaza or taking your kids over to Cesar Chavez Park where they can enjoy the colorful playground.
And don’t forget about all those sports fans who come from all over California! After games end on Sundays, head over to Spartan Stadium (San Jose State University) for your next stop on the tour.
