Black River is one of the most beautiful places in Jamaica. The river is about an hour’s drive from Montego Bay, and it’s worth the trip. The water is crystal clear and the scenery is breathtaking. There are also plenty of activities to keep you busy, like swimming, tubing, and hiking. If you’re feeling adventurous, go cave exploring or zip lining at Trelawny Nature Trail.

Dunn’s River Falls, St. Ann’s Parish

Dunn’s River Falls is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Jamaica. The falls are about 600 feet (183 m) high and plunge over several terraces into a pool at the bottom. Visitors can climb the falls, which is a popular activity. The Dunn’s River Falls and Park are located in St. Ann’s Parish, about 2 miles (3.2 km) from Ocho Rios. They are only 15 minutes away from each other by car. Tours to the falls start every half hour during daylight hours and last for two hours.

A guide will take you to the top of the falls where you can slide down on your stomach or back, depending on your preference, while trying not to get too wet! The best time to visit is in the morning when it’s less crowded. There are also vendors selling snacks and drinks near the entrance, so come prepared with cash if you want something to eat or drink before heading up the falls.
