Badian, one of the most beautiful places in the world, with its unique white sand beaches and calm waters make it an ideal vacation spot not only in Cebu but all over the Philippines. Whether you’re looking to unwind on a beach getaway or just want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, Badian should be your first choice. Here are some reasons why you should visit Badian this summer .

Rent a tricycle in Cebu

Cebu is a beautiful city located in the Philippines. It’s known for its natural beauty and adventure. There are many things to do in Cebu, but one of the best ways to see the city is by renting a tricycle. Tricycles are small, three-wheeled vehicles that are easy to maneuver around tight corners and narrow streets. You can explore the city at your own pace with no set itinerary.

If you don’t want to drive yourself, most tricycles come with a driver who knows the city well and can point out all of its natural beauty along the way. Just make sure to communicate your preferences before you set off on your adventure. Things to do in Cebu include visiting Fort San Pedro (the first stop on our tour), stopping at Magellan’s Cross, and checking out La Caldera de Bandola Park.

After exploring the city from above, we finally made it back down to ground level where we toured Fuente Osmeña Circle, a landmark that commemorates the Battle of Badian between Muslim Filipinos and Spanish colonizers.

Where to Eat

Food and Restaurants in Badian, Cebu - Where to eat in Badian.

When it comes to food, Badian has a lot to offer. There are plenty of restaurants that serve up delicious meals, as well as street food vendors who sell tasty snacks. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you’ll be able to find it in Badian. One popular dish is called Carinderia, which is grilled pork and chicken with rice and vegetables.

It’s similar to the dishes you might find at a Korean or Chinese restaurant back home. My favorite street food is Chicharon which is fried pork skin and other parts (yes, I know it sounds weird). These are sold by vendors near the main market area where there’s also an abundance of fruit stands selling pineapples, mangoes, bananas, papayas and more! If you’re looking for something sweet, grab some ice cream from one of the many vendors. I’m partial to the pandan flavor myself.

It’s safe to say that you won’t go hungry while visiting this city. But if you’re on the lookout for fresh seafood, you’ll have to head down south about 30 minutes away to Pescador Island.

The Puka Beach

Puka Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Badian. It’s well known for its clear blue waters and white sand beaches. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking in this lovely spot. There are also a few restaurants and cafes nearby, making it the perfect place to spend a day in Badian.

The best time to visit Puka Beach is at sunrise or sunset when the view is absolutely breathtaking. The famous twin volcanoes Mount Arayat and Mount Pinatubo can be seen from afar, creating an unforgettable scene. Take your camera with you so you can capture some of these magical views! For those looking for more adventure, there are caves and mountains that provide great climbing opportunities.
To get back to town, there are jeepneys that go by every 15 minutes or so. Be sure to take advantage of all the natural beauty in Badian while you’re here! We recommend visiting more than just Puka Beach. Laguna de Bay National Park offers many options for nature lovers as well as fishing enthusiasts.

Taoist Temple/Hanging Bridge

The temple is located on a hill, and you have to walk up a long flight of stairs to get to it. The temple is very ornate and has a lot of intricate details. The Hanging Bridge is another popular tourist attraction in Badian. The bridge is located near the Taoist Temple and spans a river.

The bridge is very old and has been declared a national heritage site. If you want to cross it, you need to use an outrigger boat that’s attached to either side of the bridge. There’s nothing else around except for the water, so if you’re afraid of heights this might not be your best option. However, if you do decide to go across the bridge, there’s something interesting waiting for you at the other end.

Once you reach the other side, there’s a whole different world to explore! It’s called Moonlight Beach and there are little shops selling all sorts of souvenirs. It’s also less crowded than some of the other beaches nearby, which makes it really nice.

Pandanon River

The Pandanon River is one of the most beautiful places in Badian. It’s a great place to take a dip on a hot day, or just enjoy the view. The river is also home to some of the city’s best restaurants, so you can enjoy a meal while you’re there.
If you’re looking for a place to relax and take in the beauty of Badian, the Pandanon River is definitely the place for you. It’s located close to many of the major attractions, but it still feels like a hidden gem that only locals know about. Another thing that makes this spot special is how serene it feels. There are no distractions from people talking, or cars driving by. You can really find your own inner peace at this spot! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the area.
There are various things to do, like swim or explore nature. It’s not too difficult to get to either, as it’s relatively close to the main road.

Oslob Sandbar

The Oslob Sandbar is one of the most beautiful places in Badian. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. What’s more, there are many vendors that sell food, drinks, and souvenirs on the beach.

You can also go on boat rides around the water area or take tours of natural marine life with snorkeling gear available for rent at most stalls. All these activities make this place a wonderful vacation destination not just for people but for tourists as well! There are so many things to do and explore while you’re here, it’ll be hard to get bored. If you love seafood then this is the perfect location for you because all sorts of fresh seafood will be ready at any given time.
If seafood isn’t your thing then you should visit some nearby resorts and restaurants because they have plenty of other options too. Visitors who are looking for nightlife won’t be disappointed either since there are several bars and clubs in town. Plus, if you’re into shopping then you won’t want to miss out on the markets where local products from all over Bohol are sold.

The Moalboal

Moalboal is a small town located in the southwestern part of Cebu Island in the Philippines. It is known for its white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and coral reefs. Moalboal is a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. There are many dive shops and resorts in Moalboal that offer these activities. The water temperature stays around 28 degrees Celsius all year round so it’s perfect for both winter and summer travelers.
The saltwater around the area attracts lots of fish and corals which is why this area is such a hotspot for divers! I dove with one of the local companies, Manta Divers – they have very affordable prices. They took me out on a boat about 30 minutes from the shore and we went up to 30 meters under water.

It was an incredible experience. As soon as I stepped off the boat and dipped my toes into the cool water, something strange happened. Something like magic passed through my body and suddenly every cell felt alive. For some reason, I wanted to stay there forever but it was time to go back up again.

The Sumilon Island

Sumilon Island is one of the most beautiful places in Badian. It’s a small island off the coast of Cebu, and it’s known for its clear blue waters and white sand beaches. We took a boat from Cebu to Sumilon, and the ride was about an hour long. Once we arrived, we were able to snorkel and see all sorts of fish and coral. The water was so clear that it felt like we were swimming in a giant aquarium.

My favorite part was seeing tiny sea turtles as they lazily swam around with their heads just above the surface. I also loved watching people dive down into the water and come back up with handfuls of colorful fish. On our way back, we stopped at a little bar on another small island called Bantayan Island for lunch.
There, we ate some fried seafood including octopus balls and shrimp fritters. Our last stop before heading back to Cebu was Dako, which is known for its local delicacies like coconut cookies and corn ice cream. All in all, this trip was the perfect day-trip outside of Manila!
