Located high above Davos on the Schatzalp, this restaurant offers stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains. If you’re looking for a truly memorable dining experience, this is the place to go. When I dined there with my family, we were treated like royalty!
As the sun set over the Alps in the distance, we were all so inspired by our surroundings that we left feeling completely rejuvenated.
I would highly recommend Restaurant Schatzalp as your next destination if you’re looking for someplace special to dine.

And who doesn’t need more serenity? Our next stop is the Klausen Pass Crossing. With breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains on either side, this picturesque crossing is definitely worth checking out. One more place not to miss: The Riffelalp Tramway. If you’re looking for some amazing photo opportunities or breathtaking views, then this tramway is perfect for you.
Skiing at Winteregg & Laret
And in Davos, you can do just that! Winteregg and Laret are two of the most popular ski spots in the city. They offer breathtaking views of the Alps and are perfect for a day (or two) on the slopes.
You’ll be glad to know that these are not the only options for skiers; all over town there are plenty of other places to hit up. One of our favorites is Tersiva. If you’re looking for a quieter time than what might be found on one of the busier mountains, this spot is worth checking out. The snow is often untouched by other skiers and if you’re lucky, you may even get some solitude.
It’s also known as a place where people come for the sunset – since it faces west, make sure to stick around until nightfall for spectacular views of the sky changing colors. From the top of the mountain, it’s possible to see far into France and Italy so bring your camera!
The Hahnenkamm Races at Kitzbühel
The Hahnenkamm Races are an annual event that takes place in Kitzbühel, Austria. Every year, thousands of people come to watch as skiers race down the treacherous slopes of the Hahnenkamm mountain. The races are considered to be one of the most dangerous events in all of skiing, and only the bravest (or foolhardy) competitors take part.
Along with being a spectacle for spectators, the competition is a rite of passage for some of Europe’s top skiers. Competitors not only have to master the challenging course but also have to brave heavy snowfall during the winter months and unfriendly weather conditions during springtime due to high winds.
But don’t let these obstacles deter you from attending this yearly event – after all, it has been known to host some pretty famous faces over the years.
